APWA is honored to host Mayor Mitch Landrieu, Sr. Advisor and Infrastructure Coordinator to the President, to mark one- year of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Mitch Landrieu, the 61st Mayor of New Orleans, was named by President Biden as Sr. Advisor and Infrastructure Coordinator to the President on November 14, 2021, one day prior to the signing of the historic Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. In this role, Mayor Landrieu oversees the implementation of IIJA, coordinates with key federal agencies, and travels the country raising awareness of the law, and sharing its opportunities.
