In this presentation APWA's Emergency Management Committee and Jason Biermann, Director of the Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management, will discuss natural and other hazard response. Mr. Bierman will offer insight from his experiences responding to the 2014 Oso landslides and to the county's current response to the Opioid epidemic and its role as an emerging hazard faced by all agencies.
