Chicago’s Climate Action Plan, pledges an 80 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from 1990 levels by 2050. Several private sector partners have stepped forward to advance these goals: 1) energy efficient buildings, 2) clean and renewable energy sources, 3) improved transportation options, 4) reduced waste and industrial pollution, 5) adaptation.
