The speaker was selected to travel to Brisbane and Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, for a study tour focused on Australian asset management and public governance with emphasis on prioritization of preventative maintenance and capital improvement budgeting. He presented at the IPWEA Asset Management Congress and spent several days learning from local asset managers and sharing his asset management journey with his new collaborators in Australia.
At the conclusion of this session participants will be better able to:
• Summarize how asset management functions as a critical tool in Australian governance, CIP planning, and public asset stewardship.
• Acquire insight into the value of idea-sharing across government entities and even across the globe.
• Recognize the value of the Jennings Randolph International Fellowship Program.
