Des Moines Residents Show Love for Solid Waste Employee

Residents in the North of Grand neighborhood in Des Moines, Iowa recently lined the streets with homemade signs adorned with words of appreciation for their favorite Public Works Solid Waste Division employee!

The coronavirus pandemic has disrupted the lives of everyone in some way, but all of the City’s Public Works Department employees are working hard every day to keep disruption of services to a minimal.

This gesture by caring individuals was a good reminder to the team that their work matters every day but especially during these very unprecedented times.
