The American Public Works Association shares the concerns of many members and the public regarding the recent impact of wildfires in Maui and the island of Hawaii. On behalf of the APWA Board of Directors, members and staff, we will band together to deal with the response and help those who were in the path of these devastating wildfires, wherever possible.
We know our public works friends and colleagues are already hard at work ensuring roads are passable, water drinkable, and waste removeable. To aid in these response and recovery efforts, we have gathered the following links and resources to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the American Red Cross, and the federal government.
APWA and our member community are here to lend a hand, and we will continue to focus on ways we can help now and throughout the recovery process.
