A recent Harvard publication found what many organizations have already experienced – that contrary to popular belief, digital transformation is less about techlogy and more about people. With workforce shortages growing and skill gaps increasing, an organization’s ability to quickly upskill and reskill its existing workforce is an essential capability for any leader to be successful. Drawing on over 100 hands-on implementations and over 600 case studies, this session will focus on key aspects that differentiate successful techlogy adoption. What works, what doesn’t, what increases the speed of adoption, and what slows it down. Key concepts include barriers to change, the big seven elements of successful change, the importance of andragogy in change planning, and how to quarantine the resistance contagion. After this session, participants will be able to:
• Plan a future adoption of new techlogy and/or processes.
• Lead their workforce in the adoption of new techlogy.
• Identify resistance behavior “early indicators” to allow for better training and leadership support.
