The Envision sustainability framework was designed to help infrastructure stakeholders implement more sustainable, resilient, and equitable projects. Managed by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI), Envision can be aligned with the specific goals of an infrastructure project or program. This session will focus on how Envision can help agencies achieve bold climate goals and integrate sustainability throughout its projects, policies, and programs. This panel will be facilitated by Anthony Kane, ISI’s CEO. The panel includes Patricia Gómez, PhD, PE, CEM, GBE, LEED AP, Deputy Chief Resilience Officer in Miami-Dade County’s Office of Resilience with more than 20 years of direct experience working on engineering and sustainability-related opportunities in both the public sector and private industries. Youn Sim, Assistant Deputy Director, County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works, leads organizations at a higher level for sustainable development. Robby Bryant will discuss the Envision Gold-rated Atlanta BeltLine Historic Fourth Ward Park stormwater management project. Join them to learn how Envision raises the bar for sustainability and social accountability on civil works projects.
At the conclusion of this session participants will be better able to:
