In the past, working remotely was usually the result of a regional weather event or an expectation of an employee’s job; therefore, challenges were short lived or easily identifiable. The COVID-19 Pandemic has made remote work an immediate and indefinite expectation of employees, which poses unique and comprehensive challenges. Public works leaders must now lead and manage workforces not only at home but in the field. This program will allow leaders to share challenges, experiences, and current practices from their communities.
