The presenter will give a brief history of sw operations within the City of Omaha spanning the last 15 years and an overview of the current sw plan. How has material usage changed within that plan? What is the current liquids program within the city? What is the level of service, and how was it determined? Participants will get an overview of 24-hour sw operations covering planning, inter-departmental coordination, training, equipment and fleet, plan execution, operational dashboard, swplow tracker, residential contractor operations, oversight, removal, citizen request, and clean up.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be better able to:
• Evaluate maintenance operations and determine if they are useful to their organization.
• Identify if they need a level of service plan in their operation.
• Identify advances in techlogy that can help make their operations more effective.
