Diana Forbes is the Director of Meetings where she leads the in-house Meetings Team in the association’s planning and production of APWA’s educational conferences, the North American Snow Conference, and APWA’s annual business meeting and marketplace–PWX (Public Works Expo). Diana also leads the efforts in site selection for future conferences.
Diana consults with chapters on their events, including contract review and negotiation tactics, and offers insight on meetings and events when called upon.
Diana is a long-time member of the Professional Convention Managers Association (PCMA) and holds the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation.
She is a graduate of the University of Kansas and enjoys and recognizes the importance of life-long learning. She has served on Customer Advisory Boards for Salt Lake City and Milwaukee. Diana enjoys producing experiences for APWA members where they can learn and network in support of their continued professional development.
